Two people killed in head-on motorcycle crash in north Okanagan

VERNON, B.C. – Two people have been killed in a crash northwest of Vernon, B.C.

RCMP in the north Okanagan say a motorcycle and an SUV rammed head-on just before 7 p.m. on Sunday night.

The victims have not been identified but investigators say both were on the motorcycle and both were local residents.

According to police, the SUV pulled out to pass another vehicle and collided with the oncoming motorcycle.

The SUV driver was not hurt.

Alcohol has been ruled out as a factor, but other causes of the crash are still under investigation. (CKIZ)
