UPDATE: Swerving around a rock caused rollover
UPDATE: Police say the woman involved in a rollover off Lower Glenrosa Road suffered no injuries and alcohol was not a factor. No charges will be laid. The accident happened when she had to swerve to avoid a rock on the road. One wheel hit the curb and she lost control.
WEST KELOWNA – A woman was taken to hospital this morning following a rollover off Lower Glenrosa Road.
The 29-year-old woman was the only person inside the vehicle when the accident happened. The fire department and EHS responded to reports there were flames and smoke inside the vehicle, but the woman was able to escape before emergency crews arrived. The extent of her injuries have not been released.
The accident is still under investigation.
