Kamloops author shares grief journey

KAMLOOPS – The TNRD Library System is hosting a reading and discussion led by Kamloops author Dana Goodman on Wednesday, Nov. 19, 7 p.m., at the Kamloops Library. Goodman will be reading from and discussing her book In The Cleft: Joy Comes in the Mourning.

Goodman shares her grief journey in In The Cleft, which details the loss of her husband, son and mother-in-law to cancer. Goodman’s book is a reminder that there is life, even joy, beyond sorrow, and that even the deepest pain can be turned into seeds of hope.

Goodman lives in Kamloops. She has a master’s degree in counselling as well as a degree in English literature and teaching.
The event is free, but space is limited, so please contact the library to reserve a spot.
