Learn about your Kamloops candidates at these upcoming election forums

KAMLOOPS – In less than a month it will be time to vote for the mayor and councillor candidates you want to represent your city.

You can check out one or more of the following election forums coming up over the next few weeks for an opportunity to meet the candidates face-to-face.

The Canadian Home Builders' Association will be hosting an all candidate forum on Wednesday, Oct. 10 at the Colombo Lodge at 814 Lorne St. This evening forum will take place from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and requires tickets to attend. A dinner will be served prior to the forum. Go here to register.

The Downtown Kamloops Seniors' Election Forum will be held on Monday, Oct. 15 from 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Desert Gardens Seniors Community Centre at 540 Seymour St. The forum is open to all voters. For more information contact Nancy Bepple at 250-319-2500 or nancy.bepple@gmail.com.

Kamloops This Week will be hosting an all candidate forum from on Monday, Oct. 15 from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. on the second floor of the Campus Activity Centre in the Thompson Rivers University Grand Hall.

Heffley Creek will be hosting an all candidate forum at the Heffley Creek Hall on Oct. 17 from 6:30 p.m. too 8:30 p.m.

The municipal election takes place on Oct. 20.
