ARMSTRONG – Police in the North Okanagan are asking for the public's help after the theft of eight propane tanks taken from the Armstrong Co-op.

Vernon-North Okanagan RCMP received a report yesterday, Oct. 1, that a theft had taken place at 3550 Okanagan St. in Armstrong. Eight propane tankes were stolen sometime overnight, detachment spokesperson Const. Kelly Brett says in a news release.

Two suspects were allegedly seen walking away with the tanks after cutting the lock to the propane cage. It's believed the suspects fled the area in a mid-1990s style GMC pickup.
