CIS Roundup: Last-minute TD leads Bishop’s Gaiters past Saint Mary’s Huskies

SHERBROOKE, Que. – Receiver Zach Graveson scored his second touchdown of the game with 31 seconds left as the Bishop’s Gaiters rallied for a 30-29 win over the Saint Mary’s Huskies in CIS football action on Saturday.

Quarterback Jaeden Marwick connected with Graveson for the three-yard TD to put Bishop’s (1-3) up by one. The Gaiters missed on a two-point conversion attempt but Saint Mary’s (1-2) failed to take advantage of the miscue.

Warwick threw for 319 yards and two TD’s — both to Graveson. Running back Vincent Davignon added another score.

Huskies QB Brock Berglund completed 21-of-30 yards for 295 yards and rushed for 87 yards and two TD’s. Derek Pisani also ran in a touchdown.
