Looking for a forever home; Kamloops SPCA pet of the week

KAMLOOPS – This shy cat was brought into the Kamloops SPCA when he and a group of cats were left behind after their owner moved away.

Batoa takes a while to get sued to new situations, a media release says. He likes to have hiding areas to feel safe.

If you are patient, gentle and live in a quiet home, this cat will come out of his shell for you.

He would do best in a home without children running around since fast movements and loud noises may scare him. He needs a cat savvy guardian willing to continue working on his fearfulness and bring out his loving side.

Batoa would probably be happiest in a home with another cat or two to show him the ropes in a new home, and help him gain confidence.

He can be won over with chin scratches and long petting sessions.

For more information about Batoa contact the staff at the Kamloops SPCA. His animal ID number is 471895.

Visit the shelter's webpage for more information such as location, adoption fees and hours of operation.
