Coyle, Dubnyk lead Wild in 5-1 win over Jets in pre-season finale

ST. PAUL, Minn. – Charlie Coyle had a goal and an assist and Devan Dubnyk stopped 17 shots as the Minnesota Wild downed the Winnipeg Jets 5-1 on Saturday in NHL pre-season action.

Zach Parise opened the scoring in the first period for the Wild (3-3-0) and Mike Reilly, Christoph Bertschy, Marco Scandella and Coyle all had third-period goals.

Joel Armia had the lone goal for Winnipeg (4-3-0).

Michael Hutchinson stopped 29 shots in the losing effort.

The game was the last of the pre-season for both teams. Minnesota opens the regular season in St. Louis on Thursday while the Jets host Carolina, also on Thursday.
