CANBERRA, Australia – Britain’s Prince William and his wife, Kate, have ended their 10-day tour of Australia with veterans’ day commemorations in the national capital.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attended a ceremony at the Australian War Memorial on Friday marking the 99th anniversary of the ill-fated Allied troop landing on Turkey’s Gallipoli Peninsula.

Their baby George later cried as the family boarded an Australian air force plane at Canberra airport after they were bid farewell by Prime Minister Tony Abbott and Governor General Sir Peter Cosgrove.
