NHL fines Stars’ Garbutt for spearing Ducks’ Perry during playoff game
NEW YORK, N.Y. – The NHL fined Dallas Stars forward Ryan Garbutt $1,474.36 on Saturday for spearing Corey Perry of the Anaheim Ducks during a playoff game.
The incident occurred in the first period of Anaheim’s 6-2 victory Friday night.
Garbutt was assessed a major penalty for spearing and game misconduct.
