VICTORIA – Premier Christy Clark is bringing back one of former premier Gordon Campbell’s communications team as her new press secretary.
Mike Morton says he’s coming out of retirement to work with the premier.
Morton, who served as Campbell’s press secretary for much of the former premier’s three terms, says he starts working with Clark on Tuesday.
Sara MacIntyre, who has been doing press secretary work for Clark, will focus on her duties as the premier’s director of communications.
MacIntyre was brought in to Clark’s team from Ottawa where she was working with Prime Minister Stephen Harper.
She replaced former television reporter Chris Olsen who was Clark’s original press secretary and was let go earlier this year after less than a year on the job.
