LANGLEY, B.C. – A 29-year-old B.C. man has been arrested in connection with at least 11 armed robberies of Surrey and Langley businesses ranging from fast food restaurants to a tanning salon.
Sgt. Ravinder Pawar of the Langley RCMP says Clarton Norris allegedly wielded a knife during the robberies between the end of May and the middle of June.
He says Mounties in the two communities had already been sharing information about the suspect in a number of incidents when two people provided crucial details from a June 19 robbery.
Pawar says that helped Mounties make the arrest and support charges against Norris.
Police are asking anyone with information to contact them.
