Kamloops police respond to fatal pedestrian collision

KAMLOOPS – Kamloops RCMP were at the scene of a fatal pedestrian motor vehicle incident this morning.

The collsion occured near 74 Seymour Street West at about 1:35 a.m., a media release says. The scene has been cordoned off and traffic rerouted.

The area was expected to be closed to pedestrian and vehicle traffic for several hours.

Police are seeking witnesses to the incident and anyone with any information are requested to call 250-828-3000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
