UPDATE: Salmon Arm fugitive arrested in West Kelowna

WEST KELOWNA – RCMP have slapped the cuffs on a 44-year-old Salmon Arm man wanted on several outstanding warrants.

Mounties took Vincent Lorne Massie into custody Wednesday night at a home in West Kelowna.

Police say he was arrested without incident.

RCMP had recently tracked Massie to a home in Deep Creek near Salmon Arm but he was able to evade a coordinated police effort to capture him and fled on foot.

He was wanted on outstanding warrants out of Kelowna for resisting arrest, forceable confinement and assault.
