Kamloops Blazers traded 18-year-old for draft pick

KAMLOOPS – The Kamloops Blazers have traded 18-year-old forward Jesse Shynkaruk to the Moose Jaw Warriors in exchange for a fourth round WHL Bantam draft pick in either 2015 or 2017.

Shynkaruk, who hails from Saskatoon, had eight points with the Blazers in 18 games this season.

“We’d like to thank Jesse for his time with the Blazers and wish him luck in Moose Jaw,” commented General Manager, Craig Bonner.

With the transaction, the Blazers have 24 players on their roster including two goaltenders, eight defensemen and 14 forwards.
