Death of 24-year-old Alberta man not suspicious, say B.C. Mounties

PENTICTON, B.C. – Mounties in B.C.’s south Okanagan say they no longer consider the death of a 24-year-old Alberta man suspicious.

RCMP Const. Kris Clark says authorities came to the conclusion following an autopsy on Andrew Scott Gangl of Edmonton.

Clark says police continue to assist the BC Coroner’s Service in the investigation.

Gangl’s body was found floating in the Okanagan River last Friday.

He was last seen walking near an elementary school in the community of Okanagan Falls, B.C.
