NewsAlert: NDP says it will vote against Ontario’s budget; possible election looms

TORONTO – Ontario NDP Leader Andrea Horwath says her party will vote against the minority Liberal government’s budget — pushing the province to the brink of a snap election.

Citing the gas plants and other spending scandals, Horwath says she cannot in good conscience support a govenrment that people don’t trust.

The Progressive Conservatives have long vowed to vote against the budget and can defeat the government with the support of the NDP.
