
Domtar Mill testing out emergency systems in Kamloops
KAMLOOPS – The emergency response systems at the Domtar pulp mill in Kamloops are being tested today and you might hear alarms if you live nearby.
The Kamloops pulp mill is holding an evacuation drill this morning, Oct. 25, and people living in the area are being advised they might hear emergency alarms, the company said in a media release.
Domtar said the test exercises were expected to last an hour.
