Employees say US veterans’ medical centre is locked down after reports of shots being fired

DAYTON, Ohio – Police in Ohio are combing through a Veterans Affairs medical centre after getting reports of shots being fired at the complex.

Employees at the VA clinic in Dayton tell media outlets that at least part of the complex was locked down Monday. Video from WDTN shows employees leaving the centre while FBI agents are going inside.

On its Facebook page, the clinic says scheduled appointments are on hold. It cites “a current developing situation.”
