PHILADELPHIA – Andrei Vasilevskiy turned away 32 shots to pick up his second consecutive shutout, leading the Tampa Bay Lightning to a 3-0 win over the Philadelphia Flyers on Saturday.

Tyler Johnson, Ondrej Palat and Jonathan Drouin scored goals for the Lightning, who extended their win streak to four games and improved their record to 12-6-1.

The Flyers (8-8-3) lost in regulation for the first time since Nov. 11, ending a 2-0-1 streak. They went 0-for-5 on the power play.

In his last appearance, Vasilevskiy stopped 24 shots in a 4-0 win over the New York Islanders. The Lightning haven’t lost since then, outscoring their opponents 15-4 on their road trip, which ends Monday night in Nashville.

Drouin’s goal capped a tough game for the forward, who missed seven straight games with an injury and left this one for a brief stretch after taking a check to the head.

His goal, which came off a long stretch pass from Palat, was his third of the season and first since returning to the lineup Thursday night.

The Lightning were outshot by the Flyers 12-6 in the opening period and scored on their only power play of the period on Johnson’s sixth goal of the season.

With Flyers centre Sean Couturier in the box for cross-checking, left wing Alex Killorn froze Steve Mason with a fake shot, then slid a pass to Johnson for a tap-in. The goal was Johnson’s first since Nov. 10 and fourth on the power play, and it came on the fifth shot Mason faced.

Four shots later, the Lightning took a 2-0 lead when Palat snaked his way through the high slot and ripped a bullet past Mason’s blocker for his third goal of the season.

NOTES: The Lightning lost RW Jonathan Drouin in the first period and LW Ryan Callahan in the second, but both players returned from their injuries. LW Brian Boyle sat out the game with an upper body injury, leaving the Lightning with 11 healthy forwards and seven defencemen. D Anton Stralman (upper body injury, day-to-day) also sat out. C Steven Stamkos missed his second game with a torn meniscus that is expected to sideline him for four months. . The Lightning’s fathers joined them on their trip to Philadelphia. . Flyers D Shayne Gostisbehere returned to the lineup after being a healthy scratch Thursday night against the Winnipeg Jets. D Andrew MacDonald sat in his place.
