REGINA – SaskGaming’s annual report says the Crown corporation had another robust financial year with a profit of $65.4 million.
Minister responsible Nancy Heppner says 2015-16’s strong results will directly benefit Saskatchewan communities.
SaskGaming provided more than $517,000 in donations, sponsorships and support to 74 organizations, projects and events across the province last year.
The Crown recorded revenue of just over $158 million in a 15-month period.
That’s an increase of more than $30 million compared to results in the previous 12-month period before the reporting schedule was changed.
SaskGaming also had a total guest count of 4.4 million people.
“SaskGaming is a strong and profitable corporation that continues to deliver an excellent guest and employee experience in a time of challenging gaming market conditions,” said SaskGaming president and CEO Susan Flett.
