Ken Follett signs up for 3 more books, including sequel to ‘The Pillars of Earth’

NEW YORK, N.Y. – Ken Follett has signed on for three new novels, including a sequel to his million-selling “The Pillars of Earth.”

Known for his thrillers and epic historical tales, Follett has an agreement with the Berkeley/NAL Publishing Group division of Penguin Group (USA). The division’s president, Leslie Gelbman, announced the deal Wednesday.

Follett’s other bestsellers include “Eye of the Needle” and “The Third Twin.” The conclusion of his “Century” trilogy, “Edge of Eternity,” will be out in September. Novels by Follett, a 64-year-old native of Wales, have sold more than 100 million copies worldwide.
