
Numerous charges in stolen truck crash that killed two teens in Saskatoon
SASKATOON – A teenage girl and a 21-year-old woman face numerous charges in a fatal crash involving a stolen truck in Saskatoon.
Police say a stolen pickup sped through a busy intersection Monday night and hit two other vehicles, including a car that was pushed into the wall of a building.
Two 17-year-olds in the car, a boy and a girl, were killed and a 16-year-old girl was seriously hurt.
Police say the 21-year-old woman faces 14 charges that include impaired driving causing death and criminal negligence causing death.
A 17-year-old girl faces three less-serious charges, including possession of stolen property.
The two, who are both from Saskatoon, were both to appear in court Wednesday.
