Mother of New York Rangers forward Martin St. Louis dies
The mother of New York Rangers forward Martin St. Louis has died.
“We send our deepest condolences to Martin St. Louis on the passing of his mother, France. Our thoughts are with the St. Louis family,” the Rangers posted Friday on the team Twitter account.
The Rangers are in Pittsburgh for Game 5 of their second-round series with the Penguins. New York trails the series 3-1.
There was no immediate word on whether St. Louis is with the team or will be in the lineup for Friday’s game.
