MONTREAL – Quebec provincial police say two teenagers have been arrested in connection with various bomb scares in recent months in Canada, the United States and Britain.
One of them is a 15-year-old boy from Laval, north of Montreal.
Police allege he used a telephone or a computer to target a shopping centre, two private residences, and the same school twice.
Authorities say the other person arrested is a 16-year-old Ontario boy who allegedly committed similar crimes targeting Ontario, Alberta, Pennsylvania, Florida, California, Texas and Britain.
The Quebec boy was arrested in Laval on Thursday, while the Ontario adolescent was nabbed in Ottawa on the same day after an investigation that involved the FBI.
