Reality TV personalities Kendall and Kylie Jenner announced as MMVAs hosts

TORONTO – Teenaged reality TV personalities Kendall and Kylie Jenner have been announced as co-hosts of this year’s MuchMusic Video Awards.

The pair — aged 18 and 16 respectively — are best known for appearing on “Keeping Up with the Kardashians.”

This year’s broadcast will be held again outside CTV headquarters in downtown Toronto.

Las Vegas pop outfit Imagine Dragons and 17-year-old New Zealand songwriter Lorde are the first performers announced for the annual bash.

The show will take place June 15 and will be simulcast for the first time on Much and CTV.

In a statement, Kendall Jenner said she and her sister were “honoured” to host the show.

“We love Canada and can’t wait to visit Toronto for the first time,” she said.
