TORONTO – Some of the most active companies traded Friday on the Toronto Stock Exchange and the TSX Venture Exchange:

Toronto Stock Exchange (14,514.74, down 74.15 points):

Bombardier Inc. (TSX:BBD.B). Transportation. Unchanged at $3.90 on 6.8 million shares.

Twin Butte Energy Ltd. (TSX:TBE). Oil and gas. Unchanged at $1.81 on 6.3 million shares.

Bellatrix Exploration Ltd. (TSX:BXE). Oil and gas. Down 19 cents, or 1.87 per cent, to $9.96 on 6.2 million shares

Suncor Energy Inc. (TSX:SU). Oil and gas. Down 72 cents, or 1.68 per cent, to $42.14 on 5.8 million shares.

Coalspur Mines Ltd. (TSX:CPT). Miner. Down two cents, or 21.05 per cent, to 7.5 cents on 5.3 million shares.

Just Energy Group Inc. (TSX:JE). Oil and gas. Down $1.31, or 16.69 per cent, to $6.54 on 4.8 million shares.

Toronto Venture Exchange (976.55, up 1.90 points):

Peak Positioning Technologies Inc. (TSXV:PKK). Technology. Up 2.5 cents, or 166.67 per cent, to four cents on 6.7 million shares.

VentriPoint Diagnostics Ltd. (TSX:VPT): Health-care. Up half a cent, or 6.67 per cent, to eight cents on 5.3 million shares.

Companies reporting major news:

Onex Corp. (TSX:OCX). Private equity firm. Down 88 cents, or 1.39 per cent, to $62.47 on 149,286 shares. It reported quarterly consolidated net profit of $99 million, up from a net loss of $271 million a year ago. Revenues were up three per cent to $6.5 billion. Onex also said it was increasing its quarterly dividend 33 per cent to five cents per share.
