ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Maryland has opened three drive-thru vaccination sites that don’t require appointments.
Gov. Larry Hogan said Tuesday they will be available at Six Flags in Bowie, Regency Furniture Stadium in Waldorf and Ripken Stadium in Aberdeen.
Maryland also is offering no-appointment vaccinations at nine mass vaccination sites statewide.
Hogan says expanding no-appointment vaccinations is another way of making it as easy as possible for people to get vaccinated.
The governor’s office says Maryland providers have now administered more than 4.43 million vaccines.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says 58.9% of Marylanders 18 and older have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine, including 83.5% of Marylanders 65 and older.
