RCMP identify victim in ongoing investigation of Williams Lake homicide case

WILLIAMS LAKE, B.C. – RCMP have identified the 22-year-old man found dead in what they are calling a homicide case.

Police say investigators have identified Corey Huu Le as the person found dead in a central interior community in B.C.

Police say officers responded to a complaint of a residential disturbance in Williams Lake early Sunday morning and found Le dead at the scene.

Officers say he was known to police and call the death a “targeted incident.”

A 21-year-old woman was also found and transported to hospital where she was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

The investigation is ongoing.
