Dodgers teammates Alex Guerrero and Miguel Olivo get into fight during Triple-A game

NEW YORK, N.Y. – Los Angeles Dodgers minor league teammates Alex Guerrero and Miguel Olivo have gotten into a fight during a game with Triple-A Albuquerque.

Dodgers general manager Ned Colletti says the team is looking into what precipitated the altercation on Tuesday. He says he was disappointed to hear about the fight and the Dodgers don’t condone it.

The Los Angeles Times reports that agent Scott Boras says a part of Guerrero’s ear was bitten off by Olivo.

Colletti says he doesn’t think either player sustained an injury that would keep him from playing. Colletti was with the Dodgers in New York, where they opened a series against the Mets on Tuesday night.

Guerrero, an infielder from Cuba, signed a $28 million, four-year deal with the Dodgers in October.
