Ex-Pads exec Strasberg publishes Baseball Fantography book of photos taken by fans

SAN DIEGO – Former San Diego Padres marketing executive Andy Strasberg has published Baseball Fantography: A Celebration in Snapshots and Stories from the Fans.

The book features more than 200 photos of players — both on and off the field — ballparks, mascots and other images taken during the last 100 years, as well as first-person recollections.

Strasberg got the idea when he found a snapshot of himself as a teenager posing with Roger Maris at Yankee Stadium in 1966. Figuring that other people had similar photos, he began working on the book.
