Massive Vernon house party leads to arrests
VERNON – Police spent several hours breaking up a noisy party in a vacant house Saturday night.
RCMP spokesperson Gord Molendyk says bylaw notified police around 10:35 p.m. of a loud party in the 6200 block of Rimer Road in the BX. When officers arrived, they estimated there were roughly 250 youth and adults there. Molendyk says the people who rented the house had recently been evicted.
“There was a lot of damage caused to the house as a result of the party,” Molendyk says.
He says a handful of individuals spent the night in police cells. Most of the youths were collected by their parents.
“This incident tied up police resources for several hours. “What would happen is our officers would pretty well get everyone cleared out then would turn around and they (partiers) would go back into the place.”
One of the youths got into a tussle with a cop and then fled. He was later located by the police dog team, and arrested. The 17-year-old will appear in court Feb. 23 to answer to charges of causing a disturbance, assaulting a police officer and resisting arrest.

This is exactly what the did to bandos fucking house! Illegally searched and ransacked the house took all his shit, all of it.. It’s ridiculous, everything in the house is probably seized! And Ryan I fell in that fuckin hole haha after the fence incident god damn then I found Joe n Jon both fell in too lol, barely any damage happened!! was a crazy night nonetheless. What else to do than a typical Vernon party

Ops never got to finish the last post. My point was going to be its sounds like a bad situation for everyone. I am sure this is enough blame to go around. There is always 3 sides to every story.
Really, 250 kids at a house party and the cops did something wrong! Hum how many were underage drinking, driving, to king.
