Woman alleges RCMP pulled her from shower, left her naked during house search

WINNIPEG – A Manitoba woman is suing RCMP officers who she claims pulled her from a shower during a search of her home and left her shivering naked in her kitchen.

The woman alleges in a lawsuit filed last week that she has been left with post-traumatic stress disorder and a fear of showering.

The lawsuit claims the woman, who works as a hospital medical technician, began hyperventilating and went into shock before she was taken to hospital.

It says police raided her house as part of an investigation in 2012.

No statement of defence has been filed.

The woman’s claims have not been proven in court.
