BAIE-COMEAU, Que. – A small earthquake rumbled across Quebec‘s North Shore on Monday afternoon near Baie-Comeau.
Natural Resources Canada says the 3.8 magnitude tremor struck just east of the village of Chute-aux-Outardes just after 5:30 p.m.
The Ministry says the quake was felt primarily in Baie-Comeau.
Catherine Woodgold of Earthquakes Canada says earthquakes of low intensity are not unusual in this area.
No damage was reported and Natural Resources said none was expected.
