WEST KELOWNA – Police are on the lookout for a suspect they say stole donation boxes with money intended for seriously ill children and veterans.
RCMP received at least four different complaints from various businesses. Each time, a man came into the business and took off with the donation box while staff was distracted.
Each box contains cash donated to the Legion's poppy fund to support veterans and the Ronald McDonald House.
Mounties are hoping someone out there can provide information leading to the suspect.
Anyone with any information regarding the identity of the suspect is asked to call the West Kelowna RCMP, Const. Folz at 250-768-2880. Remain anonymous by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477, leaving a tip online at www.crimestoppers.net or by texting your tip to CRIMES (274637) ktown
