Canadian Press NewsAlert: Quebec Court of Appeal judge nominated to Supreme Court
OTTAWA – Prime Minister Stephen Harper has named Quebec Court of Appeal judge Clement Gascon as his nominee to fill the seat on the Supreme Court of Canada previously held by Justice Morris Fish.
Gascon has been a Quebec Court of Appeal judge since 2012, prior to which he spent 10 years as a member of the Quebec Superior Court.
