
Well known Kamloops broadcaster Angelo Iacobucci dies suddenly
KAMLOOPS – Angelo Iacobucci, a senior reporter with RadioNL in Kamloops, has died.
RadioNL news director Shane Woodford announced on Twitter that Iacobucci passed away suddenly today, Dec. 14.
"Today the NL family has suffered a terrible and unexpected loss. We are absolutely shattered to share that Angelo Iacobucci passed away this morning. Our hearts go out to his family and his wife Silvana. Today this newsroom feels very empty. We will miss you my friend." Woodford said in his tweet.
Iacobucci was 60-years-old and had spent nearly 40 years in radio. He was a veteran reporter known for covering city hall among several other topics.
Several people have turned to social media to share their fond memories of Iacobucci including B.C. Premier John Horgan and former Kamloops mayor and MLA Terry Lake.
