
WILD WEDNESDAY: An up-close look at B.C.’s woodpeckers
Many birds have already flown south to warmer climate now that cooler weather has arrived in B.C.'s Interior.
However, many bird species stay put including the Downy and Hairy woodpecker.
In this week's episode of Wild Wednesday, WildSafeBC shows you how these small birds hunt for grubs and insects under tree bark and how to tell the difference between the two similar, but different woodpeckers.
