KELOWNA – Two of the Okanagan's most popular snow destinations will be open to the public this weekend
Two lifts started making runs at Silver Star Resort Thursday morning, with 28 trails available. And Big White Ski Resort announced that after speculation there might not be enough snow, several runs will indeed be ready Saturday morning.
At Big White The Ridge Rocket, the Plaza and Lara’s Gondola will all have limited runs open and the Village Shuttle will be available starting at 7 a.m.
Silver Star reports a snow base of 100 cm as of Thursday afternoon, and Big White has 85 cm with much of that falling in the last three days.
For more information, visit the Silver Star and Big White websites.
