Chris Christie to joke about bridge scandal, act out ‘dad dancing’ on ‘Tonight’ show

NEW YORK, N.Y. – Gov. Chris Christie is busting a move on late-night TV.

The New Jersey governor will appear on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” Thursday, where he’ll poke fun at his traffic scandal and participate in a recurring bit acting out “the evolution of dad dancing.”

An excerpt released by NBC shows Christie portraying “The Dance You Do At A Springsteen Concert” by pumping his fist and playing air guitar.

But when Fallon proceeds to another dance — “This Bridge Is Closed” — Christie feigns anger and storms offstage.

The appearance is Christie’s first since news broke that members of his administration redirected traffic on the George Washington Bridge in an apparent act of political retribution.

“The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” airs at 11:35 p.m. eastern time on NBC.
