TORONTO – Some of the most active companies traded Friday on the Toronto Stock Exchange and the TSX Venture Exchange:

Toronto Stock Exchange (15,001.61, up 91.98 points):

Amaya Gaming Group Inc. (TSX:AYA). Consumer tech. Up $5.87, or 41.69 per cent, to $19.95 on 9.9 million shares. the company announced it was buying the company that owns PokerStars and Full Tilt Poker for US$4.9 billion in an all-cash deal that will create the world’s largest publicly traded online gaming company.

Yamana Gold Inc. (TSX:YRI). Miner. Up 24 cents, or 2.74 per cent, to $9 on 9.3 million shares.

B2Gold Corp. (TSX:BTO). Miner. Down 10 cents, or 3.40 per cent, to $2.84 on 8.3 million shares.

Crocotta Energy Inc. (TSX:CTA). Oil and gas. Up 25 cents, or 6.01 per cent, to $4.41 on 6.2 million shares.

Bombardier Inc. (TSX:BBD.B). Transportation. Up 10 cents, or 2.61 per cent, to $3.93 on 5.3 million shares.

Air Canada (TSX:AC.B). Transportation. Up 34 cents, or 3.65 per cent, to $9.66 on 4.1 million shares.

Toronto Venture Exchange (997.33, down 0.64 of a point):

Makena Resources Inc. (TSXV:MKN). Exploration. Unchanged at five cents on 4.8 million shares.

Cadillac Mining Corp. (TSXV:CQX). Metals exploration. Up 10.5 cents, or 116.67 per cent, to 19.5 cents on 3.6 million shares.

Companies reporting major news:

DHX Media Inc. (TSX:DHX). Entertainment. Down eight cents, or 1.29 per cent, to $6.12 on 195,976 shares. The children’s programming company announced it will produce 60 new episodes for the Teletubbies for CBeebies in the U.K. It acquired the popular Teletubbies franchise in 2013.
