This week we met the Leader family, a family of four facing discrimination at the hands of local landlords because 4-year-old Jaxon is autistic

The second public open house for budget talks with city staff was held this week and while the turnout wasn't great those who were able to get their voices heard were happy for the opportunity, including Robert Kelly who continues to help lobby for the Westsyde Centennial Water Park.

Preparations for Remembrance Day also continued this week as the city prepares to honour veterans. Poppies are displayed on coats and in windows across the city and bleachers were moved into place at Riverside Park for the Monday ceremony.
