New sponsor for Hillside Stadium in Kamloops

KAMLOOPS – The City of Kamloops has announced its new field sponsor for Hillside Stadium.

Warner Rentals Ltd. is the new sponsor of the field at Hillside Stadium, according to a City of Kamloops media release.

Warner Rentals Field at Hillside Stadium is a renewed agreement for in-venue naming rights which is part of the Tournament Capital Club Partnership Program and is set to last three years.

Warner Rentals Ltd has been an avid sponsor with the Tournament Capital Centre since 2014 by sponsoring the centre's Fieldhouse and the pool and waterslide in the Canada Games Aquatic Centre.

The new agreement will keep Warner Rentals Ltd. naming rights in the pool and replace the Fieldhouse court sponsorship with the field at Hillside Stadium.

“Warner Rentals is proud to continue our relationship with both the City of Kamloops and TRU,” Ralph Warner with Warner Rentals Ltd says in the release.

The partnership program also benefits Thompson Rivers University athletics which will receive a portion of the sponsorship money each year to support athletic bursary programs.

The three-year agreement is worth a total of $112,500, the city says.
