Prime Minister Trudeau to host town hall meeting in Kamloops

KAMLOOPS — Prime Minister Justin Trudeau will be hosting a town hall meeting following his Liberal Party of Canada fundraiser in Kamloops this week.

Trudeau will be holding the town hall-style meeting at Thompson Rivers University on Wednesday, Jan. 9 at 7 p.m. and will answer questions from the public, according to a post on Kelowna-Lake Country MP Stephen Fuhr's website.

The free event will take place at the Old Thompson Rivers University Gym and the doors will open at 5 p.m. RSVPs do not guarantee access to the event and admission will be on a first come, first served basis, Fuhr says.

The Prime Minister will also be speaking at a Liberal party fundraiser at the Coast Kamloops Hotel and Conference Centre on Wednesday, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

You can RSVP to the town hall go here.
