KAMLOOPS – The National Geographic says one of the best winter trips of 2019 may be just outside of Kamloops.
Sun Peaks was listed among nine other destinations recommended by the famous magazine.
Though Whistler B.C. is said to be the largest ski area in Canada, Sun Peaks was commended for its shorter lift lines.
The "Alpine Fondue" got a mention. Participants can enjoy a fondue dinner with Swiss music, then do some nighttime skiing afterwards.
Other sites on the list include Puerto Rico, Tunisia, and New York City.
