Unidentified man involved in fight at Kelowna business comes forward

KELOWNA – A man believed to be involved in a violent confrontation in Kelowna last month has come forward and is cooperating with police.

RCMP released an image from video surveillance footage yesterday, Jan. 8, in an effort to identify an individual involved in a violent altercation that took place in a Kelowna business on Dec. 22.

According to the RCMP a report was received shortly after noon Dec. 22 about two men who had entered into a violent confrontation following a verbal altercation that took place in a business located in the 1500 block of Dilworth Drive.

One of the men was left with non-threatening injuries and remained at the scene and spoke to police following the incident. The second unknown male left the scene before police arrived.

Kelowna RCMP said the unidentified male is cooperating with the investigation which is aimed at determinating exactly what took place.
