TORONTO – Some of the most active companies traded Friday on the Toronto Stock Exchange and the TSX Venture Exchange:

Toronto Stock Exchange (15,108.97, down 3.25 points):

Belo Sun Mining Corp. (TSX:BSX). Miner. Down four cents, or 15.69 per cent, to 21.5 cents on 26.7 million shares.

Centerra Gold Inc. (TSX:CG). Miner. Up 29 cents, or 5.38 per cent, to $5.68 on 12.9 million shares.

Primero Mining Corp. (TSX:P). Miner. Down seven cents, or 0.84 per cent, to $8.31 on 12.7 million shares.

Manulife Financial Corp. (TSX:MFC). Financial services. Up 32 cents, or 1.52 per cent, to $21.34 on 9 million shares.

Silvercorp Metals Inc. (TSX:SVM). Miner. Down 15 cents, or 6.82 per cent, to $2.05 on 8.8 million shares.

Bombardier Inc. (TSX:BBD.B). Aerospace. Up two cents, or 0.52 per cent, to $3.84 on 8.3 million shares.

Toronto Venture Exchange (1,026.32, up 4.26 points):

theScore, Inc. (TSXV:SCR). Application software. Up 5.5 cents, or 18.64, to 35 cents on 17 million shares.

Petromanas Energy Inc. (TSXV:PMI). Down 4.5 cents, or 11.84 per cent, to 33.5 cents on 6.9 million shares.

Companies reporting major news:

WSP Global Inc. (TSX:WSP). Engineering. Down 92 cents, or 2.41 per cent, to $37.30 on 457,946 shares. The Montreal-based company has set out an aggressive growth plan to become one of the world’s top three engineering consultancy firms by 2020 by more than doubling its workforce to 45,000. The company, formerly called Genivar, made a huge leap in the global rankings in 2012 with the US$438 million purchase of the larger U.K. engineering firm WSP. As of 2013, it was the world’s 17th largest firm providing engineering services, but no construction work.
