One dead in single vehicle rollover near Kamloops

KAMLOOPS – A fatal vehicle rollover occurred on the Trans-Canada Highway west of Kamloops yesterday evening.

Kamloops RCMP responded to a single vehicle rollover on Highway 1 about 5 km west of the city, a media release says.

The vehicle was travelling east bound with two occupants inside. It was going towards Kamloops when it left the roadway. 

A 36-year-old Kamloops resident was pronounced dead at the scene.

The incident is still under investigation by Kamloops RCMP and the B.C. Coroner Service.
