OTTAWA – The Ottawa Senators have traded captain Jason Spezza to the Dallas Stars.

The Stars also receive forward Ludwig Karlsson in the trade, while Ottawa gets forwards Alex Chiasson, Alex Guptill and Nicholas Paul and a second round pick in 2015.
