Cargo plane with 4 on board crashes in Nairobi shortly after takeoff; 1 body recovered
NAIROBI, Kenya – The Kenya Airports Authority says a cargo plane with four people on board has crashed shortly after takeoff in Nairobi.
A statement tweeted by the owner and operator of the country’s largest civilian airports says the plane crashed into a commercial building early Wednesday after taking off from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
The Kenya Red Cross tweets that one body has been recovered.
